I haven't blogged in over a week! That's unusual for me. I guess in these last weeks of pregnancy, I'm not into doing much and since we had family in town last week, I was a little too busy to blog! This is my sister and her family on the right and my little family on the left. You can tell which one is me, right??? We had such a wonderful time with all of them and Natalie keeps saying, "I want to be big like Hannah!" (her oldest cousin there with her arm around Natalie.) It's so cute.
I haven't done a lot of sewing in the past week, but I did get some sashing units for my quilt done today, in between wiping noses, since the girls and I all have the same cold. Let's just say there were more cartoons on here today than usual :) I'm looking forward to So You Think You Can Dance tonight (can't BELIEVE that Will got the boot!) as well as Project Runway. Gotta love the DVR, since these are both on at the same time!
Before I go, I have to share a quote from a book I'm reading, called Joy at the End of the Tether by Douglas Wilson. It's based on the book of Ecclesiastes and I love this summary of its theme:
"All things considered, the furious activity of this world is about as meaningful as the half-time frenzy at the Super Bowl. But a wise man can be there and enjoy himself. This is the gift of God." (p 13)
Amen!
Look at all those beautiful kids!! What a fun crew!
ReplyDeleteHang in there (keep your feet up)!
