Sock Puppies

These are the sock puppies I made my sister's kiddos for Christmas. I've been dying to post them, but didn't want Jana to see! They were so much fun to make, they're all done by hand out of a pair of socks. I found the instructions in a Martha Stewart Handmade Holiday magazine. There were so many good ideas in there and none of them too hard. I hope she puts one out every year!

Piggy Tails

You have to love these pig tails. We never thought
she'd have enough hair for this, but it has finally
happened! Now if she'd just get some more on top!
hehehe : )

Little Casey

Can you believe this cutie patootie!!!???!!! I love these pics, he looks like the little spitfire he's always been, huh? The sunglasses remind me of the picture of Natalie in her sunglasses that I posted here a few weeks ago. Like father, like daughter!

Pillows

These are some little animal pillows I made for my niece and nephew for Christmas. Didn't they turn out so cute? Super easy too. My old machine had terrible problems sewing on fleece, or anything with much stretch, but my new Pfaff was amaaaazazing : )

THE bag

Over the summer I made a bag like this to use as Natalie's diaper bag (I'm just not into the cutesy kind, if ya know what I mean.) Anyway, of all the bags I've made in the past, this is the one that took off. I sold this one recently and have several more orders for these bags! I must say, I'm proud to have designed something that people seem to like so much!

Christmas Tree

I know this picture is fuzzy, but I just love it anyway. Natalie was enthralled with decorating the tree and it's such a cute memory for me that I had to post it. (She doesn't like wearing pants very much right now : )
We love our tree, it has ornaments from Casey's and my childhood, homemade ornaments from nieces and nephews and now we're adding our own kids' first ornaments. I like an eccelectic tree full of memories so much better than the matchy-matchy kind, ya know?
