Ah, I'm so happy it's Fall. Fall is my absolute favorite. And I'm happy it came on time this year, since it seemed so short the last couple of years. We live in a very campy-looking neighborhood with a ton of old trees so it looks amazing here in the Fall when all the leaves are all yellow and everywhere. Love it. I made this little pin cushion today. Actually it's not little, it's pretty huge for a pin cushion, but I'm in love with it. I got the pattern from the Spring issue of Quilts & More magazine. It's an Anna Maria Horner pattern and I used Sandi Henderson Fabrics, which I ordered online from Fresh Squeezed Fabrics. (VERY fast delivery, a sister in Christ and a fellow Coloradan! I'm happy to support her business when I can.) Whew, was that enough links for you? OK, gotta go change a diaper...or two :)
That is the cutest pin cushion I've ever seen. As for the size...I've always wanted a really big one anyway because I have so many projects going at the same time and need a ton of pins!
ReplyDeleteIs that Farmer's Market fabric? I also love the site you got it from. I will buy from her as often as possible as well! Thanks for all the links!
very cute....yes....and i'm all about "fall"!!
ReplyDeleteThe pin cushion is great....LOVE big pincushions!
ReplyDeleteJust checkin' in on my favorite blogs! Your new little guy is adorable, and your quilts are all gorgeous. Love your blog, always some new great crafty things to see!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sewing anything right now either. I keep feeling worse instead of better. At this point, I'd have to get better extremely fast to be able to go to the market on Sunday. I wouldn't mind a few prayers on my behalf. I haven't been this sick since I had the flu when we lived here the first time.
