Layla's New Lovey

I took a break today from my other sewing projects to make Layla this new blankie. She has a blankie currently, that is not supposed to go in the washing machine (dumb?), but I've washed it several times anyway and it's looking pretty sad. However, she loves the tag on that blankie and holds it while she sucks her thumb. So, I picked out these great flannels and ribbons and made her a new blanket, full of cute ribbon tags and hopefully she'll love it just as well. Best of all, it's perfectly washable.

  1. Oh, I think taggys (taggies?) are one of the greatest inventions! My sister has been making them for a couple of years now, but I haven't seen as big as Layla's (usually Tana's are about the size of 2 burp rags put together). They are AWESOME - my nephew loved them when he was little. :)
