This is Natalie's favorite hair- do. We like to call it Monkey Ears : ) Why are so many hair-dos named after animals? Some days I just can't get over how sweet and adorable she is and this was one of those days. Couldn't resist taking pictures ; )

Natalie's having fun, but I think Layla was a little nervous. Natalie really likes to love on Layla. She gives her hugs and kisses, sits on her head and things like that :) She tells her good morning every day, always says "Bless you, Layla!" when she sneezes or coughs and gives her kisses every night before bed. So sweet!
Okay, so this is not my favorite picture of myself, but I'm mighty proud of this skirt I made so I'm posting it anyway. When I cut out this skirt, I didn't have enough of the green knit, so I cut one piece out of the green sheer (an old curtain panel) and I love how they look together. I added a print behind the cut-out flower petals and I loooooove how it all turned out!

Hehehe, I took these pictures of my girls today while I was putting away laundry. I have funny, funny babies! You can see that we specialize in chubby cheeks : )

So I'm back on top of my poor neglected blog! I figure having a baby is a good excuse to slack off for awhile : ) Layla Jane arrived Thursday, Jan. 4th at 7:47 a.m. She was 9lbs. 2 oz. and 23" long. Yes, I know, she's a healthy girl. I love this picture of Natalie with Layla and also the one of my mom and her. She's sooooo sweet so far, she sleeps and eats great. Completely different from how Natalie was, being so colicky and all so it's been great. (Natalie is such a delight now, of course.)
