Okay, so this is not my favorite picture of myself, but I'm mighty proud of this skirt I made so I'm posting it anyway. When I cut out this skirt, I didn't have enough of the green knit, so I cut one piece out of the green sheer (an old curtain panel) and I love how they look together. I added a print behind the cut-out flower petals and I loooooove how it all turned out!

My funny bunnies

Hehehe, I took these pictures of my girls today while I was putting away laundry. I have funny, funny babies! You can see that we specialize in chubby cheeks : )

Awwww

I like this picture of Casey and Layla. I have a similar one of him and Natalie when she was only a few days old and along with this one, it's one of my favorite pictures ever.

Party On!

These are some pictures from the joint b-day party we had for Natalie and Cloe, my good friend Julie's daugther, who is two weeks older than Natalie. They had tons of fun, quite a few people from church came and helped us celebrate. The last pic is of the girls in the dresses the Sanders' gave them at the party, which they wore the next day to church and looked too cute in!

Natalie's 2!!!
Here are some pictures of Natalie's B-day spread : ) Angela helped me make these cupcakes, copied from a magazine article I'd cut out a few years ago and they turned out soooooo cute. We had a little farm animal theme and of course, Natalie thouroughly enjoyed herself.

Layla Jane
So I'm back on top of my poor neglected blog! I figure having a baby is a good excuse to slack off for awhile : ) Layla Jane arrived Thursday, Jan. 4th at 7:47 a.m. She was 9lbs. 2 oz. and 23" long. Yes, I know, she's a healthy girl. I love this picture of Natalie with Layla and also the one of my mom and her. She's sooooo sweet so far, she sleeps and eats great. Completely different from how Natalie was, being so colicky and all so it's been great. (Natalie is such a delight now, of course.)

Sock Puppies
These are the sock puppies I made my sister's kiddos for Christmas. I've been dying to post them, but didn't want Jana to see! They were so much fun to make, they're all done by hand out of a pair of socks. I found the instructions in a Martha Stewart Handmade Holiday magazine. There were so many good ideas in there and none of them too hard. I hope she puts one out every year!

Piggy Tails
You have to love these pig tails. We never thought
she'd have enough hair for this, but it has finally
happened! Now if she'd just get some more on top!
hehehe : )
